Landscaping Crew Leader/Foreman
Full Time · Monclova, OH · $20.00–$30.00 per hour
Aqualawn is looking for a few Landscape Crew Leaders to grow with us. We offer great wages, great equipment and year round work. If you are looking for a home, we would love to speak with you.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Management to complete landscape projects in the most efficient manner while putting customer satisfaction first
- Motivate crew members to achieve desired productivity and job performance
- Operate equipment including, but not limited to, single axle dump trucks, loaders, skid steers, track loaders, excavators
- Properly complete time reports and other required tablet work
- Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns
- Assists Management with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available
- Train employees
- Assist and lead crews on all aspects of jobs
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted Driver's license with a clean record
- Minimum 2 years of previous Landscaping leadership experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong Organization skills
- Willing to work extra hours when needed to complete jobs
- Capable of physical labor
- Adept at identifying and solving problems that may arise during landscaping projects
- Ability to make decisions under pressure

Landscape Crew Member
Full Time · Monclova, OH · $16.00–$18.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Landscape installation
- Planting trees, shrubs, and perennials
- Installing mulch, decorative stone, and landscape materials
- Fine grading and site preparation
- Seeding, hydroseeding, and sod installation
- Lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
- Spring and fall clean-ups
- Pruning and landscape maintenance
- Operating commercial mowers, skid steers, mini excavators, chainsaws, blowers, dump trailers, and other professional equipment
- Keeping trucks, trailers, equipment, and the shop clean and organized
- Working as a team to meet customer expectations
Requirements:
- Landscape experience preferred, though we will train the right person
- Dependable and punctual
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions

Lawn Team Member
Full Time · Monclova, OH · $14.00–$17.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lawn/landscape team leader in performing lawn or landscape maintenance duties. The lawn team member will mow, trim, blow, edge, weed, perform spring & fall clean-up. The landscape team member will perform most all aspects of the landscape industry including installation, mulching, trimming, grading and hydroseeding.
- Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, snow blowers and, or plow trucks
- Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Team Leader as appropriate
- Assist with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision
Requirements:
- One year experience in this or a related field is preferred
- Willingness to work occasional (paid) overtime
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Valid driver's license with minimal points
- Work independently & with other team members

Irrigation Technician
Full Time · Monclova, OH · $20.00–$35.00 per hour
Aqualawn is hiring an experienced irrigation technician. Our team works on residential properties and large commercial developments. If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving problems, and want to be recognized for what you do, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain irrigation systems
- Install new residential and commercial irrigation systems
- Perform spring start-ups and fall winterizations
- Diagnose valves, wiring, controllers, and hydraulic issues
- Program and service Hunter and Rain Bird irrigation systems
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Lead crew members when needed
- Document work using a company tablet
- Keep your truck clean, organized, and stocked
- Provide customers with recommendations and repair estimates
Requirements:
- Irrigation experience preferred, though we will train the right person
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn
