Scott Denker, owner of Aqualawn, has always been a self-starter. Combining that with his entrepreneurial mindset, Scott devised a way to pay for college: he started his own business.
The year 1987 marked the launch of Denker Lawn Care that within 3 years grew to the point of taking on a partner. The company was then renamed Springfield Lawn & Landscape, LLC. Owning a business while attending college was quite a challenge for Scott, but he stuck to it and in 1998 graduated from The University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in International Business.
With his new degree, Scott could have chosen to close the doors of his successful landscaping business and move towards other career goals, but instead thought of not only the hard work and dedication of his employees, but also the relationships he’d established with his clients and could just not see himself doing anything else. He loved the business and could easily see into its future success.
As business grew, Scott and his team worked to beautify the landscapes of homeowners, businesses, and apartment complexes. The team often found upon arrival that once gorgeous landscapes had withered away simply for lack of care; and lack of irrigation.
So in 2002, Scott opened Aqualawn, LLC, a lawn irrigation business structured to give owners an easy and affordable way of protecting their landscaping investment, giving their lawn and landscape years of life and beauty.
The company designs irrigation systems specific to the needs of the property and the goals of the owner. Aqualawn technicians will then install the systems using minimally invasive techniques, top of the line products, and long lasting materials unique to the industry like copper and PVC.
