No one likes to think of it, but living in Ohio, it’s unavoidable. Winter inevitably comes. It’s imperative that your system is properly prepared to take on Old Man Winter and the frigid temperatures he brings.
Aqualawn’s technicians will winterize your system each year by ensuring that no water is left in the lines. If water remains, it will most certainly freeze and cause costly damage to the lines and fittings.
The most efficient way to ensure completely dry lines is by performing a “blow-out”. This technique forces air through the lines using compressed air. Safely performing this process requires intricate knowledge of the system itself as well as the proper use of an air compressor.
Beginning from the zone furthest away from the controller and working our way in, each zone will be individually blown out and prepped for winter.
